چکیده

The increasing use of nanofertilizers in modern agriculture and their impact on crop yield pest management require further research. In this study, the effects nano-Fe, -Zn, -Cu (which are synthesized based nanochelating technology), urea (N) fertilizers antioxidant activities wheat plants (cv. Chamran), green aphid Schizaphis graminum (Rondani) investigated. authors observed highest levels phenolics non-infested nano-Zn-treated (26% higher compared with control). H2O2 infested nano-Fe-treated (in nano-Zn nano-Fe treated plants, 18% 28% peroxidase (POX) activity is N-treated water-treated (almost 14%, 37%, 46% than control, respectively). lowest plants’ -Fe treatments 7 5 folds lower to catalase (CAT) 42% control) respectively. nano-Zn, -Fe, Hoagland-treated showed superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. Regarding enzyme S. graminum, POX nano-Cu treatment (more two control); CAT SOD -Zn treatments. It can be concluded that application caused plant’s system its resistance graminum.

PHYSIOLOGICAL ECOLOGY Salivary Proteins of Russian Wheat Aphid (Hemiptera: Aphididae)

Salivary secretions play critical roles in aphidÐhost plant interactions and are responsible for damage associated with aphid feeding. The objectives of this study were to evaluate aspects of salivationand the salivaryconstituentsofDiuraphis noxia(Hemiptera:Aphididae). Salivaryproteins were isolated and compared from three aphid probed diets: pure water, 15% sucrose, or amino acids (100 mM seri...

Physiological and biochemical responses of resistant and susceptible wheat to injury by Russian wheat aphid.

We examined the physiological and biochemical responses of resistant ('Halt' and 'Prairie Red') and susceptible ('TAM 107') wheat, Triticum aestivum L., to injury by the Russian wheat aphid, Diuraphis noxia (Mordvilko). Photosynthetic capacity was evaluated by measuring assimilation/internal CO2 (A/Ci) curves, chlorophyll fluorescence, chlorophyll, and nonstructural carbohydrate content. Total ...

The effects of nano TiO2 and Nano aluminium on the growth and some physiological parameters of the wheat (Triticum aestivum) .

Nanoparticles are atomic or molecular particles with at least 1–100 nanometer diameters. They have entered vastly into the world of agriculture and biology; this is because of their special effect and their unique features. Their unknown impact on living things and the ecosystems has caused a lot of concern. This research was done in order to study the effects of nano-TiO2 and nano aluminium on...

Some Physiological and Biochemical Effects of NaCl Salinity on Durum Wheat (Triticum durum Desf.)

The main objective of this study was to examine the effects of NaCl on the leaf growth and some physiological and biochemical characteristics of an Algerian durum wheat (var. Waha) landrace. NaCl (150 mM), as compared to control plants, significantly reduced all the leaf-growth parameters as leaf area (33%), leaf dry weight (41%) and leaf fresh weight (32%), but did not induce any change in the...

The effect of cadmium and mercuric chlorides on some physiological traits in two cultivars of wheat.

One of the important abiotic stresses that negatively affect cereals such as wheat is heavy metals. Soil pollution with heavy metals has become one of the major environmental concerns resulting from the industrial development and use of fertilizers containing heavy metals. One way to counteract the negative effects of heavy metals in plants which produce reactive oxygen species is the activatio...
